Exercise Fields

Our fields are available for private or group hire, with 30-minute or 1-hour sessions to suit your dog’s needs. Each space is surrounded by 6ft secure fencing — high enough to keep large dogs safely in, and tight enough to stop small dogs slipping through.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept XL Bully Type dogs?

Yes! All breeds are welcome to use our fields. Any breed affected by Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) is still welcome, provided owners comply with government rules. Please see our Banned Breeds Policy for full details.

Are the fields secure, even for small breeds?

Yes — our fencing is 1.8m (6ft) high and has been checked carefully to ensure there are no gaps for small dogs to escape. For peace of mind, please do your own quick check before letting your dog off the lead.

What’s included in the fields?

Each field is fully fenced, has on-site parking, water bowls, bins, and seating. All fields also include Timber Collective agility equipment for enrichment and play. Some fields may have toys or shelter depending on location.

How many dogs can I bring?

A standard booking covers up to 3 dogs. Additional dogs can be added for £1 each at checkout. As a guide, we recommend no more than 6 dogs per handler.

How high is the fence?

All fencing is 1.8m (around 6ft) high.

How do I book a slot?

Book via our website using SimplyBook.me. Create an account once; future bookings take about a minute.

Do I need to book the dog wash?

No. The Strelley Hall Dog Wash is self-service. No booking is required — just arrive onsite and use the facility.

I’ve booked a field but need to cancel — what do I do?

Please see our Cancellation Policy. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. With more notice, message us and we’ll try to reschedule depending on availability.

Will other dogs be in the field with us?

No. Your booking is for exclusive use. You can invite friends or bring other dogs with you, but no other customers will share your slot.

Are there other dogs on site?

Possibly. Other customers may be arriving or leaving. Please be mindful and keep dogs on lead outside the fields.

Can I drive into the field?

No, but parking is a few meters from the gate on hard-standing. If you need assistance, contact us in advance.

How do I get into the field?

After booking, you’ll receive an email with a gate code. Arrive at your start time, park, unlock, and enjoy your session.

Can I see other dogs from the field?

You may see other dogs through fencing as people arrive or leave. For reactive dogs, consider using a training line and keep to the far side of the field.

Can I bring my own toys?

Yes — please take them with you when you leave.

Which gate should I use?

We occasionally rotate gates. Check signage on arrival and your confirmation email for instructions.

I wasn’t happy with my session — what should I do?

Please contact us right away. We want every visit to be positive and your feedback helps us improve.

Can I bring a reactive dog?

Yes. Many customers use secure fields for reactive dogs. While you may see other dogs nearby, your field is private and fully secure. Please don’t allow your dog to remain at the fence barking or lunging.
